ng at 49 won the Gemini for Best General/Human Interest Series at the 25th Annual Awards Ceremony. Executive Producer Barbara Barde and Producer Linda Stregger were on hand to accept the prized Gemini Statue at the Industry Gala.



Prokofiev: The Unfinished Diary

Prokofiev: The Unfinished Diary.
This Canada/France co-production, which had its Canadian premiere on Bravo! in October, 2009, enjoys impressive international recognition. Directed by Yosif Feyginberg, this documentary won the coveted Czech Crystal Award for the Best Documentary Program dedicated to music and dance in the Golden Prague International Television Festival and the prestigious Special Jury Award at the 42nd Annual WorldFest in Houston. It ws the closing night selection at "Canadian Mosaic" (Days of Canadian Cinema in Moscow) and was selected for screening at the 31st Moscow International Film Festival (Critics' choice for best film in the documentary catagory in "the Evening Moscow", a leading newspaper): the Tarkovskky Film Festival in Ivanovo, Russia; FIPA in Biarritz, France; FIFA in Montreal, Quebec; TRFF in Toronto, Ontario.

Prokofiev: The Unfinished Diary                                        January 2009

Canada's Up Front Entertainment and France's 13 Production are pleased to announce that they have completed their co-production Prokofiev: The Unfinished Diary. This marvelous music documentary was created for ARTE France and Bravo! Canada, with pre-buys from YLE Finland, SBS Australia, SVT Sweden and others pending. It reveals the years of 1918 to 1936, during the composer's challenging exile from the Soviet Union. Watch it on Bravo! Canada in the Fall of 2009.

Take This Town & Sell It                                                   Spring 2006

The design team from Take This House & Sell It transforms an entire town from drab to fab on this delightful one-hour design show. Just completing the development phase, this series hit the ground running with the highly sucessful pilot shot in Hillsburgh, Ontario. The townspeople were thrilled when our designers took their main street from grubby to gorgeous in one short week.



Walk With Us                                                                     Spring 2006

Walk With Us: The collaborative works of Janet Cardiff and George Bures Miller had its World Premiere to a sold-out audience when it opened the Canadian Art Foundation's Canadian Art Film Series in Toronto on February 24, 2006. George and Janet flew in from Berlin for the event and participated in a post-screening discussion and Q&A with Director Wiebke von Carolsfeld and "Canadian Art" contributor Sascha Hastings.

This stunning documentary also was selected for screening at the International Festival of Films on Art (FIFA) in Montreal in March.

The World Television Premiere of Walk With Us was on Bravo! on April 8, 2006. We now are looking at distribution to various international broadcasters.
