Barbara Barde, BS, MA, LHD

President / Executive Producer

Barbara Barde is co-owner and president of Up Front Entertainment Inc., a successful television production company based in Toronto Canada. Barde is an award winning Executive Producer. Her vast repertoire includes over 600 television programs, including 15 major series set in locations all over the world. Barde's programs have aired nationally and internationally and over her career she has developed an understanding of the needs of both the broadcast and independent production communities. Barde has twice been honoured as one of Canada's top 100 Most Powerful Women Executives. She also serves as a lecturer and frequent panelist on issues related to the television industry, independent production and the role of women in the media. Barde has served as Chair of the Canadian Film Centre Board of Directors, President of Toronto Women in Film and Television, Co-Chair of the YWCA Toronto, Women of Distinction 25th Anniversary Awards Committee, board member of the CanStage and WTN. Currently she is a member of the YWCA Elm Centre Campaign Cabinet. Barde combines her exceptional networking skills with extensive background in journalism, making her an influential exectutive in the world of television.

Linda Stregge

Linda Stregger, BA, CMA

Vice-President / Producer

Linda Stregger is the co-owner of Up Front Entertainment Inc., an award winning independent production company based in Toronto, Canada. A Gemini and International Award winning Producer, Stregger has developed, created and produced hundreds of series, documentaries, docu-soaps and studio based series. She "grew up" in television managing live sports projects, including two Olympic host and domestic broadcasts. Stregger concentrates her efforts in builidng a successful business and catering to the ever changing demands of Domestic and International Broadcasters. Combining her training as a Certifiied Management Accountant with her imaginative production style, Stregger continually creates production teams that deliver the highest quality of programs. Stregger also serves as a part-time professor in the Television Arts & Science program at Humber College and lives in the greater Toronto area with her husband and five daughters.
